While other parts of your application give us a sense of who you are, we are also excited to hear more about how you see yourself engaging with the larger Northwestern community.
In 300 words or less, help us understand how you might engage specific resources, opportunities, and/or communities here. We are curious about what these specifics are, as well as how they may enrich your time at Northwestern and beyond.
instructions/guide (please read all):
Talk about how I promote science studies and technology for volunteer students. Ask me any questions if you need but i began a volunteer organization when i was very young in order to help children in regions of northern china. every winter, me and my team brought donations such as educational supplies to help promote education in these neglected regions. but it was my initiative to take machines such as microscopes and computers to the children in the north in order to encourage science studies. you may make up stuff along the way such as little stories and problems but please include how i helped them grow as a community and how I feel that this school (northwestern) can help me do the same thing by introducing more top of the line equipment for my research + interests. answering the prompt, for example, i can say that by working with the Kelloggs school of management (north western school of business) i can create a joint operation with the students from there and work together to help bring more donations to the children of my volunteer organization. essentially, i see my volunteer organization grow with the community as i care a lot for it.
